The Toy Association wanted to create a PSA platform to spread the message that play isn’t just fun, but critical for childhood development.

Our response: The Genius of Play – a campaign that made it all the way to the floor of Congress in its first year, and has grown and evolved for over a decade.

The inaugural campaign featured an animated series of play moments, each revealing the extraordinary power of ordinary play. The mixed-media art style mimicked the way children love to use all kinds of art supplies together when they create.
