My former agency Makeout (where I served as Cofounder and ECD) was an experiential powerhouse – but we also had an in-house video department working with entirely separate clients on campaign work that often included hero videos, distinct social strategy and assets, email blasts, microsites and more.
I led the creative strategy, concepting, writing and creative direction on all projects.
Not only that, but event & experiential projects themselves are wildly complex storytelling initiatives that require tons of content across various media: At minimum, each one typically needs a microsite, social content to help promote it, email blasts, and a sizzle recap video. Inside the experience, too, there might be dozens of screens, each one showcasing video content, motion graphics, or custom tech interfaces. I’ve concepted, drawn sketches and wireframes, written, and creative directed everything under the sun to bring these experiences to life.
